A new death hit the bodybuilding world again after the tragic passing of Pit Trenz, the 53-year-old former bodybuilder who represented Germany throughout his career with the IFBB, was revealed.
His partner Sarah Trenz announced it through his Instagram account with an emotional message, while the athlete was in charge of updating his health status through photos and posts on his social networks.
“Frag the Trenz” has been fighting for your life since the beginning of the year. In January, he was admitted to a hospital suffering from problems related to his heart condition, the specialized site Fitnessvolt reported . Later, after receiving medications that did not react well in his body, organic failure occurred.
His wife wrote an emotional message after announcing the death
In October, complications increased and the bodybuilder entered a clinic in Greece (where he lived with his partner), however his condition worsened and he was transferred to Germany when doctors could not identify what the problem was.
On October 25, it was discovered that he was suffering from pneumonia and that his lungs had collapsed.
“My husband, Pit Trenz (former IFBB PRO), died after we were fighting side by side for 4 weeks,” Sarah wrote on her Instagram account, adding: “He was my heart, my life, my second half. He always said ‘we are one person’. I don’t know how life can go on. He was my life. I’ll keep going, just for him. Pit was very afraid of being separated from me. And I of him. The best person I have ever known. ”

The bodybuilder competed with colleagues such as Branch Warren, Nasser El Sonbaty, Ronny Rockel and Heiko Kallbach, among others.
Trenz, meanwhile, shared his health updates through his social networks. The last one was six days ago: “I am still alive… There are not many news. After 3 weeks of intensive care there still seems to be no end in sight (…) No day is predictable. Every 2 days a new Problem appears . The situation is always expected to go uphill, ”he wrote.
Germany lost one of its most important representatives in the bodybuilding world who, after leaving the competition, began to prepare and support IFBB Pro professionals such as Roman Fritz, Dennis Wolf and Markus Rühl, among others.
