Sponge cake ideal for athletes who want to enjoy Christmas , but without eating excess calories. This cake will adapt to your fitness diet , providing you with high-quality protein and complex carbohydrates … and without excess calories.
Information about the fitness sponge cake recipe
- Approximate time to prepare the fitness cake: 40 minutes.
- Time to cook: 25-30 minutes approximately.
- Size to consume for each person: 1- 2 pieces maximum.
- Number of servings you can prepare with this recipe: between 8-10 servings.
- Kitchen and cooking style: North American.
Ingredients to perform the fitness sponge cake
- 4 whole eggs and 2 egg whites.
- 1 small spoonful of defatted cocoa mixed with vanilla or coconut powder.
- 30 gr of striped coconut.
- 180 gr of chocolate flavored oatmeal.
- 450 ml of vegetable drink oat or rice or even skim milk (the one you like you).
- Sweetener to your liking: saccharin or sucralose.
How do we prepare this fabulous dessert?
1- We beat the eggs and the whites until we reach the point of snow.
2- once the eggs are beaten, mix them with the coconut and the sweetener.
3- add the vegetable drink or milk and beat everything again.
4- mix the oatmeal with chocolate and mix everything well in the mixer.
5-Now put everything well mixed in a bowl or a suitable container for the oven … and put it to bake for approximately 25-30 minutes. At a temperature of about 170-180º.
6-remove from the oven and let cool. You can add cinnamon or cocoa powder on top as you like.
